Drug war magpapatuloy sa kabila ng imbestigasyon ng ICC at human rights groups – Duterte

Muling iginiit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na tutuparin niya ang ipinangakong wakasan ang operasyon ng iligal na droga sa bansa.

Sa kanyang talumpati sa 10th Filipina Entrepreneurship Summit sa World Trade Center sa Pasay, iginiit ng pangulo na ang kanyang kampanya kontra iligal na droga ay magpapatuloy mayroon mang imbestigasyon ang International Criminal Court o human rights groups o wala.

“The war against drugs will continue with or without the ICC, with or without the human rights, with or without the politicians, it will last until the last day of my term as President,”, ani ng pangulo.

Muling nagbanta ang pangulo na wawakasan ang buhay ng mga sindikato ng droga at crime groups na sisira sa kinabukasan ng mga kabataan.

Samantala, sa hiwalay na talumpati sa oath-taking ceremony ng mga miyembro ng Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) sa Malacañang, iginiit ng pangulo na walang hurisdiksyon ang ICC sa kanya.

“That’s why I’m not answering. That’s true. I don’t want to say that has always been my weapon ever since. Don’t believe them. They cannot ever, ever hope to acquire jurisdiction over my person,” ani Duterte.

Nauna nang ipinahayag ng palasyo na hindi na uusad pa ang sa preliminary examination phase ang reklamong isinampa sa pangulo sa ICC.
