Hiniling ng isang abogado sa Korte Suprema na ipawalang-bisa ang appointment kay Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Isinumite ng abogado na si Oliver Lozano ang kanyang petisyon sa Kataas-taasang Hukuman. Isinaad dito ni Lozano na bigo si Sereno na sumunod sa legal requirements.
Dagdag ng abogado, dahil sa impeachment complaint na kanyang kinakaharap, naging hati at magulo umano ang Korte Suprema dahil sa kontrobersya.
Kasalukuyang nasa indefinite leave si Sereno habang naghahanda para sa impeachment trial ni posible niyang harapin.
