IDPs sa Marawi City nakatapos na ng skills training sa DSWD at TESDA

Naka-graduate na ang 2,615 na mga internally displaced persons (IDPs) ng Marawi City mula sa skills training na ibinigay ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), at iba pang pribadong partner organizations.

Sa ilalim ng Sustainable Livelihood Program, tinuruan ang mga IDPs ng painting, carpentry, driving, welding, computer servicing, cooking, dressmaking, haircutting, electrical installation and maintenance, masonry, pipe making, at welding.

Kaya naman siyam na buwan matapos ang kaguluhan sa kanilang lungsod ay mayroon nang sapat na kaalaman ang mga IDPs para sila ay makapagsimulang muli at tuluyan nang makarekober mula sa tinamong trauma.

Bukod sa skills training program ay namigay rin ang DSWD ng Pre-Employment Assistance Fund na nagkakahalaga ng ₱5,000 sa bawat isang graduate, bukod pa ito sa mga toolkit na ipinamahagi naman ng TESDA.
