Tinatawid ngayon ng tropical depression Basyang ang Sulu Sea.
Huling namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa 185 kilometers West Southwest ng Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Taglay nito ang lakas ng hanging aabot sa 45 kilometers bawat oras at pagbugsong aabot sa 60 kilometers bawat oras.
Kumikilos ang bagyo sa bilis na 26 kilometers bawat oras sa direksyong West Southwest.
Ayon sa PAGASA, mamayang gabi ay maaring tumama sa kalupaan ng Southern Palawan ang bagyo.
Nananatili namang nakataas ang public storm warning signal number 1 sa Southern Section ng Negros Occidental, Southern Section ng Negros Oriental at Northern section ng Zamboanga del Norte.
