Consignee ng P6.5B shabu shipment, pinalilipat na sa Manila City Jail
Ipinag-utos na ng Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Ang paglilipat sa Manila City Jail sa consignee ng P6.4 billion shabu shipment na nakapuslit papasok sa bansa.
Sa utos ni Judge Rainelda Estacio-Montesa ng Manila RTC Branch 46, inatasan nito ang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na ilipat na sa Manila City Jail si Eirene Mae Tatad ng EMT trading.
Si Tatad na consignee ng shabu shipment ay naaresto ng NBI noong nakaraang linggo.
Nagpalabas naman ng show cause order ang korte laban sa NBI at inatasang magpaliwanag kung bakit hindi ito dapat mapatawan ng contempt.
Ito ay dahil sa kabiguan ng NBI na i-turn over ang customs broker na si Mark Taguba sa Manila City Jail kahit may commitment order na para dito.
