Kasong graft vs. kay Sen. De Lima, ex-Gov. Tan, ibinasura ng Ombudsman

Ibinasura ng Office of the Ombudsman ang kasong graft na kinakaharap ni Senador Leila de Lima at dating Sulu vice governor Abdusakur Tan sa umano’y maanomalyang pagpapalaya sa ilang hinihinalang myembro ng Abu Sayyaf group noong 2013.

Sa joint resolution ng Ombudsman, dinismiss ang kasong paglabag sa Sections 3(e) at (f) ng Anti-graft and Corrupt Practices Act dahil bigong patunayan ng mga nagreklamo ang kanilang mga alegasyon.

Sina Temogen Tulawie at Abner Tahil ang nagsampa ng kaso laban sa dalawa.

Inakusahan sina De Lima at Tan, kasama ang dating chairman ng National Commission on Muslim Filipinos na si Mehol Sadain at dating commissioner na si Edilwasif Baddiri ng pagtulong at pagpondo umano sa pagpapalaya sa tatlong hinihinalang myembro ng Abu Sayyaf group.

Ito ay sina Jul Ahmad Ahadi, Mujibar Bong Amon at Mohammad Sali Said.

Pinalaya sila noong February 2013 kung kailang kalihim pa ng Department of Justice si De Lima.
