Dengvaxia hindi pa rehistrado France nang ibakuna sa mga bata sa Pilipinas ayon sa Sanofi
Inamin ng Sanofi Pasteur na hindi pa rehistrado ang Dengvaxia sa European Union drug authority nang ito ay gamitin sa Pilipinas at iturok sa mga batang edad 9 pataas.
Sa pagdinig sa kamara, sinabi ni Thomas Triomphe, Asia-Pacific head ng Sanofi Pasteur, ang Dengvaxia na ginawa para sa mga bansang mataas ang kaso ng dengue ay hindi prayoridad sa Europe.
Aminado si Triomphe na sa ngayon nasa proseso pa ng “certification” ang Dengvaxia, at kahit hindi pa ito rehistrado sa European Medicines Agency ay naipakita naman na ang pagiging ligtas at epektibo nito.
Ayon kay Iloilo Rep. Ferjenel Biron, hindi dapat tinanggap ng Pilipinas ang Dengvaxia dahil hindi ito aprubado ng European FDA.
Nakapagtataka aniyang naipasok at inangkat ng Pilipinas ang nasabing produkto kahit hindi ito rehistrado sa European Medicines Agency na katumbas ng FDA sa Pilipinas.
