Ombudsman Morales maaring makasuhan kung hindi ipatutupad ang suspensyon kay Carandang
Maaring mapatawan ng kasong administratibo at kriminal si Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales kung susuwayin nito ang suspension order ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Overall Deputy Ombudsman Melchor Arthur Carandang.
Ito ang banta ni Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo.
Ani Panelo, kung magmamatigas si Morales at susuwayin ang utos ng Office of the President na suspendihin ng 90-araw si Carandang dahil sa grave misconduct ay maari siyang makasuhan.
Paliwanag ni Panelo, lahat ng aksyon ng pangulo ay maituturing na ‘presumed’ hangga’t walang inilalabas na desisyon ang korte.
“Any willful refusal to do so or any deliberate act impeding such enforcement may open the said official to administrative and criminal sanctions,” ani Panelo.
Una rito ay nanindigan ang Malakanyang na may hurisdiksyon ang Office of the President na disiplinahin ang mga deputy ombudsman.
