PCSO Chairman Jose Jorge Corpuz, nagbitiw sa pwesto
Nagbitiw sa pwesto si Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chairman Jose Jorge Corpuz.
Ang pagbibitiw ni Corpuz bilang chairman at miyembro ng board of directors ng PCSO ay inanunsyo ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
Ayon kay Roque, health reasons ang ibinigay na dahilan ni Corpuz sa kaniyang pagbibitiw sa pwesto.
Agad namang nilinaw ni Roque na hindi si Corpuz ang tinutukoy ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na isa pang chairman ng isang ahensya na sisibakin niya sa pwesto.
Sa event kasi ng PAGCOR noong Huwebes ng gabi, sinabi ng pangulo na maliban sa nasa 70 police officials ay mayroon pa siyang sisibakin na isang chairman.
Ani Roque, kalusugan at wala nang iba pang dahilan sa pagbibitiw ni Corpuz.
“This is to announce that Mr. Jose Jorge Elizalde Corpuz has resigned as Chairman and Member, Board of Directors, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office due to health reasons. Mr. Corpuz, for the information of everyone, is not the person whom the President said he will fire for corruption,” ayon kay Roque.
