Pangulong Duterte, tinanggap na ang pagbibitiw ni Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte
Tinanggap na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagbibitiw ng kanyang anak na si Paolo Duterte bilang vice mayor ng Davao City.
Kinumpirma ito ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Una nang sinabi ng Malacañang na mayroong 15 araw ang pangulo para desisyunan ang resignation ni Paolo, batay sa Local Government Code.
Inanunsyo ng Davao City Vice Mayor ang pagbitiw sa kanyang pwesto noong Pasko, December 25. Aniya, ginawa niya ito dahil sa delicadeza matapos masangkot sa mga kontrobersiya.
Kabilang na rito ang pagkadawit si Paolo sa 6.4 bilyong pisong shabu shipment mula China na nakalusot sa Bureau of Customs. Inabswelto ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee si Paolo.
