Ito ay makalipas na mangulelat sa UAAP basketball league ang UST sa katatapos na liga na naging dahilan ng pagbibitiw ni Boy Sablan bilang head coach ng Growling Tigers.
Sa December 31 matatapos ang kontrata ni Ayo sa DLSU.
Matunog naman ang balita na hahalili kay Ayo sa bilang head coach ng Archers si Richard Del Rosario.
Kinuha rin umano ng DLSU ang serbisyo ni Barangay Ginebra head coach Tim Cone bilang kanilang consultant.
