Ombudsman Carpio-Morales, sinampahan ng impeachment complaint ng VACC
Sinampahan ng impeachment complaint sa Kamara si Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales.
Inihain ng grupong Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption ang reklamo sa House of Representatives.
Sa 94-pahinang reklamo, inakusahan ng grupo si Morales ng paglabag sa Konstitusyon, betrayal of public trust, treason, bribery, graft and corruption, at iba pang high crimes.
Lumagda bilang petitioners sina Martin Diño ng VACC, Evelyn Kilayko ng Tanggulang Demokrasya Inc., Atty. Eligio Mallari ng Vanguard of the Philippine Constitution Inc, at mga miyembro ng pamilya ng SAF 44 na nasawi sa Mamasapano encounter noong 2015.
Pero ayon sa grupo, kailangan pa nila ng endorsement ng isang mambabatas para umusad ang reklamo sa Kamara.
Sa ilalim ng patakaran ng Kongreso, maihahain lamang sa House Committee on Justice ang isang impeachment complaint kung inendorso ito ng isang mambabatas.
