Termino ni AFP Chief of Staff Guerrero, pinalawig ni Pang. Duterte
Pinalawig ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang termino ni Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Rey Leonardo Guerrero ng apat na buwan pa o hanggang April 2018.
Kinumpirma ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque na pinirmahan kahapon, December 6 ang extension of service ni Guerrero.
Ayon kay Roque, maaabot na ni Guerrero ang kanyang age of compulsory retirement sa December 17.
Pero nagdesisyon umano ang Pangulo na panatilihin pa si Guerrero sa pwesto bilang AFP Chief of Staff hanggang April 24 ng susunod na taon alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 8186 o ang batas na naglilimita sa termino ng mga opisyal ng AFP.
Dahil dito, magiging anim na buwan ang serbisyo ni guerrero bilang Chief of Staff kasunod ng pag-upo nito sa pwesto noong October 26.
