Umento sa sweldo ng mga pulis, sundalo at bumbero lusot sa komite sa Senado
Pinagtibay na sa committee level ng Senado ang joint
resolution para itaas ang base pay ng mga sundalo, pulis at iba pang uniformed personnel.
Ayon kay Senador Panfilo Lacson, Chairman ng Senate Committee on Public Order, i-eendroso nila kaagad sa plenaryo ang resolusyon na isa sa prayoridad ng Duterte administration.
Nauna namg naaprubahan sa Kamara ang resolusyon kaya inaasahang magiging mabilis ang paglusot nito bago mag-adjourn ang Kongreso.
Sakop ng panukalang dagdag na base pay ang Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National
Police, Philippine Navy, Bureau of Fire Protection at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
Sa pagtantya ni Lacson, aabot sa P60 hanggang 80 Billion ang magagastos para sa panukalang dagdag na sweldo ng mga uniformed personnel.
