7.3 magnitude na lindol, tumama sa New Caledonia; tsunami alert, itinaas

Niyanig ng magnitude 7.3 na lindol ang Loyalty Islands sa New Caledonia.

Naitala ang malakas na pagyanig alas 6:44 ng umaga, oras sa Pilipinas.

Ayon sa datos ng USGS, may lalim ng 25 kilometers ang lindol.

Dahil sa malakas na lindol, nagpalabas ng tsunami alert ang US National Weather Service sa coastal areas ng New Caledonia at Vanuatu.

Sa abiso naman ng PHIVOLCS, hindi magdudulot ng tsunami sa mga baybayin ng Pilipinas ang nasabing lindol sa New Caledonia.
