International terror link ni Dr. Russel Salic isinapubliko ng AFP
Ibinunyag ng Armed Forces of the Philippines na malawak ang koneksyon ni Daesh Dr. Russel Salic sa mga terror group sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.
Sa pulong balitaan, sinabi ni AFP Spokesman Major General Restituto Padilla na hindi ordinaryong giyera sa Marawi City kundi miyembro rin aniya si Salic ng mga terror group sa Middle East at U.S.
Ayon kay Padilla, ang impormasyong ito ay nakuha sa Interpol at iba pang allied intelligence agencies.
Sa impormasyong nakuha ng US, nakakuha din si Salic ng pondo para sa tatlong indibidwal na magsagawa ng terror plot sa New York.
Si Salic ay subject ngayon ng extradition alinsunod na rin sa hiling ng US government.
Ipinauubaya naman ng Malacañang sa Department of Justice (DoJ) ang extradition habang ang suspek ay na nasa kustodiya ngayon ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
