Dalawang warships ng Australia, bibisita sa bansa

Dalawang Royal Australian Navy warships ang nakatakdang dumating sa Maynila para sa isang “goodwill visit” mula October 10 hanggang 15.

Ayon kay Philippine Navy Spokesperson Captain Lued Lincuna ang dalawang navy vessels na HMAS Adelaide (LO1) at HMAS Darwin (FFG-4) ay dadaong sa Pier 15 ng Manila South Harbor eksakto alas-9 ng umaga sa Martes.

Ani Lincuna, ang pagbisita ay bahagi ng Australia Defense Force’s Joint Task Group Indo-Pacific Endeavor 2017.

Ang HMAS Adelaide ay isang amphibious assault ship habang ang HMAS Darwin ay isang guided missile frigate.

Isang welcome ceremony ang magaganap at dadaluhan ng mga delegado mula sa Philippine Navy.

Inaasahang dadalo sina Australian Ambassador to the Philippine Amanda Gorely, mga ranking officials ng Philippine Navy at Captain Jonathan Early na siyang Joint Task Group Commander.
