Bagong operating hours, ipatutupad ng mga mall mula Oct. 15
Para maibsan ang pagsisikip sa daloy ng trapiko sa nalalabit na Christmas season, nagkasundo ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at mga mall owner and operator na magpatupad ng unified operating hours.
Simula sa October 15, 2017 hanggang sa January 15, 2018, magbubukas ang mall ng alas 11:00 ng umaga at magsasara ng alas 11:00 ng gabi.
Napagkasunduan ang adjusted operating hours matapos ang isinagawang consultative meeting sa MMDA main office.
Ayon kay MMDA Assistant General Manager for Planning Jojo Garcia, maliban sa late na pagbubukas ng malls, napagkasunduan din na ang pag-deliver ng mga produkto ay isasagawa lamang mula alas 11:00 ng gabi hanggang alas 5:00 ng umaga.
Bibigyan naman ng exemption kung ang ide-deliver ay ‘perishable goods’.
Dumating sa nasabing pulong ang mga kinatawan ng Ayala Malls, SM Supermalls, Robinson’s, Starmall, Shangri-La, at Rockwell.
