Nagtalaga si Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director Gen. Ronald dela Rosa ng bagong director para sa Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO).
Si Senior Supt. Edgar Alan Okubo na ang itinalaga ni Dela Rosa para mamuno sa CPPO, kapalit ni Senior Supt. Eric Noble na magsisilbi namang police attache sa San Francisco, USA.
Bago siya malagay sa Cebu, unang nagsilbi si Okubo sa Pangasinan Provincial Police Office (PPPO).
Gaganapin ang turnover of command ngayong umaga sa CPPO headquarters.
Tiniyak naman ng hepe ng provincial police community relations na si Supt. Virgilio Bayon-on na susuportahan nila ang kanilang bagong pinuno lalo na sa pagpapatuloy ng kampanya laban sa iligal na droga.
