Impeachment complaint laban kay Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista, tuluyan nang ibinasura ng komite sa Kamara
Aprubado na sa House Justice Committee ang committee report at kasama nitong resolusyon na nagbabasura sa impeachment complaint kontra Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman Andres Bautista.
26 miyembro ng komite ang bumoto sa mosyon ni Misamis Occidental Representative Henry Oaminal na aprubahan ang committee report at resolusyon habang dalawa naman ang tumutol.
Nauna ng ibinasura sa ginawang pagdinig ng komite na pinamumunuan ni Mindoro Oriental Rep. Reynaldo Umali ang reklamong impeachment nina dating Negros Oriental Rep. Jacinto Paras at Atty. Ferdinand Topacio.
Ito ay matapos na maideklarang insufficient in form and substance ang reklamo laban kay Bautista.
Kabilang sa mga alegasyon ng naturang mga complainants laban kay Bautista ay betrayal of public trust, corruption, other high crimes at culpable violation of the Constitution.
