Ayon kay Richard Venturina, anti-crime volunteer na rumesponde sa insidente, mukhang hindi napansin ng driver na si Michael Cano ang concrete barriers kaya tuloy-tuloy ito sa pagmamaneho hanggang sa sumalpok.
Aminado naman si Cano, na napag-alamang isang Uber driver, na nakatulog siya habang nagmamaneho.
Bahagyang nasaktan si Cano matapos magtamo ng galos sa ulo.
Nagdulot naman ng bahagyang pagsikip sa daloy ng trapiko ang naturang aksidente.
