Kasong rape na isinampa ni Deniece Cornejo laban kay Vhong Navarro, ibinasura ng DOJ
Ibinasura ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang reklamong rape na isinampa laban sa aktor na si Vhong Navarro.
Base sa resoslusyon ng DOJ wala silang nakitang probable cause upang ipagharap ng kasong rape sa korte si Navarro.
Ang aktor ay inireklamo sa DOJ ng aktres na si Deniece Cornejo ng panggagahasa.
“…such thorough scrutiny, has failed to make us engender a well-founded belief that the rape and attempted rape described by complainant actually happened,” nakasaad sa resolusyon.
Sa rekord ng kaso, noong Oct. 16, 2015, isinampa ni Deniece ang reklamo laban kay Vhong sa Taguig Prosecutor’s Office.
Nailipat sa tanggapan ng prosecutor general ang reklamo dahil dalawang piskal ng Taguig ang nag-inhibit sa paghawak ng kaso.
