Duterte nagtalaga ng pansamantalang pinuno ng DSWD
Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Department of Social Welfare and Development Undersecratary for Finance and Administration Emmanuel Leyco bilang officer-in-charge ng kagawaran.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abellana mananatiling OIC si Leyco hanggang hindi pa nakakahanap ng ipapalit si Duterte kay dating DSWD Sec. Judy Taguiwalo.
Bago sa kanyang appointment sa DSWD, si Leyco ay professor sa Asian Institute of Management at sa W. Sycip Graduate School of Business.
Tiniyak ni Abella na dadaan sa mabusising pagkilatis ng pangulo ang susunod na kalihim ng DSWD.
Magugunitang ang appointment ni Taguiwalo ay ibinasura ng makapangyarihang Commission on Appointment makaraan ang mahigit sa isang taong panunungkulan sa Duterte administration.
