Mga pinalayang NDF consultants ipinaaaresto na ng gobyerno
Inatasan na ng gobyerno ang mga korte sa bansa para sa muling pag-aresto sa ilang mga consultants ng National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).
Nasa 21 peace consultants ng NDFP ang pinalaya ng pamahalaan para makilahok sa usapang pangkapayapaan na isinusulong ng Administrasyong Duterte sa Oslo, Norway.
Ang kautusan para arestuhin muli ang mga peace consultants ay base na rin sa petisyong inihain ng mga abogado ng pamahalaan.
Sa isang statement, ipinaliwanag ni Solicitor General Jose Calida na ang paglalabas ng kautusan ay bago pa magpasya si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na itigil na ang pakikipag-usap sa kilusang komunista.
Kakanselahin din ang inilagak na bond ng nasabing mga detainees.
“Due to the eventual termination of the peace negotiations … and the cancellation of the back-channel talks in the Netherlands, the NDFP consultants who were granted conditional release should be recommitted and their respective bonds should likewise be canceled,” ayon sa statement ni Calida.
