P110M halaga ng kontrabando, nasabat ng Bureau of Customs

Nasabat ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang 20-container vans na naglalaman ng mga pekeng brand ng sandals, sapatos at damit.

Ayon kay Manila International Container Port District Collector (MICP) District Collector Atty. Vincent Maronilla, pawang mga sapatos, sandals, at ukay-ukay na ideneklarang ready-to-wear items ang laman ng mga kahon na nasa loob ng containervans.

Hinarang ang shipment dahil sa paglabag sa Intellectual Property Rights.

Ang point of origin umano ng mga kargamento ay China at Hong Kong.

Posible namang idonate sa mga pamilyang apektado ng krisis sa Marawi City ang mga nasabat na gamit.
