100 drug surrenderees, nag-graduate sa urban farming sa Las Piñas
Aabot sa isandaang drug surrenderees sa Las Piñas City ang nakapagtapos na ng labingdalawang linggong training program sa Villar Sipag Foundation.
Ayon kay Sen. Cynthia Villar, Chairperson ng Senate Committee on Agriculture, sumailalim sa training program sa urban agriculture ang mga drug surrenderees sa farm school sa Las Piñas City.
Sa ganitong paraan, sinabi ni Villar na mabibigyan ng alternatibong source ng income ang dating mga drug addict.
Bukod sa urban farming, sumailalim din ang mga dating drug addict sa values formation, spiritual healing at restoration sa pangunguna ng Couples for Christ Foundation for Family and Life (CFC-FFL).
Umaasa si Villar na ang mga dating drug addicts ay mamumuhay na ng normal at magiging produktibo sa lipunan.
