Operasyon ng Pasig River Ferry, suspendido ayon sa MMDA
Sinuspinde ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang operasyon ng Pasig River Ferry, Miyerkules ng umaga, June 21.
Ayon sa MMDA, pansamantalang sarado muna at hindi magagamit ang ferry.
Ito ay dahil sa mga water hyacinth at mga basurang naglutangan sa ilog Pasig.
Mahihirapan umano ang ferry na maglayag kung puno ng water hyacinth at basura ang daraanan nito.
“For the safety of the riding public, the Pasig Ferry is temporarily closed today, June 21, 2017, due to navigability constraint along the Pasig River which is almost entirely covered by water hyacinth and other floating garbage stuck to it,” ayon sa abiso ng MMDA.
