Nagkamali ang Palasyo ng Malacañang sa pag-anunsyo ng appointment kay dating House Speaker Jose De Venecia.
Sa halip na special envoy sa intercultural dialogue ng Department of Foreign Affairs, itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si De Venecia bilang Special Envoy to Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Bukod kay De venecia, itinalaga rin ng pangulo si dating Senador Edgardo Angara bilang Special Envoy of the President to the European Union.
Itinalaga rin ng Pangulo ang PNP official na si dating Davao City Chief of Police SSupt. Vicente Danao bilang pinuno ng National Anti-illegal Drugs Task Force sa ilalim ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
Matatandaang si Danao ay nakunan sa video na sinisigawan, minumura at binubugbog ang kanyang asawa pero ipinagtanggol pa rin ito noon ni Pangulong Duterte.
Itinalaga rin ng pangulo ang negosyanteng si Dante Ang bilang Special Envoy of the President for International Public Relations.
Aabot sa apatnapu’t dalawang iba pa ang itinalaga ng pangulo sa iba’t ibang pwesto sa pamahalaan simula noong Lunes.
