Ilang araw bago ang Mothers day isang ina na tulak ng droga ang inaresto ng mga Operatiba ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at General Santos City Police sa isang buy bust operation sa Barangay Bula, General Santos City noong May 11, 2017.
Kinilala ni PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña ang suspek na si Mercedita Lazo Dela Cruz, 51, isang housewife at residente ng Bagsakan, Alunan, Barangay Bula, General Santos City.
Nakumpiska mula kay Dela Cruz ang isang plastic sachet ng shabu at ang pera na ginamit sa buy bust.
Ang suspek ay bago lamang nakilala na drug player sa lungsod at nabatid na nagbebenta diumano ng droga sa mga bata at mga negosyante sa General Santos city.
kasong paglabag sa Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) at Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), sa ilalim ng Article II ng Republic Act 9165, o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 ang isasampa laban sa suspek.
