Buong Ilocos Norte at ilang bahagi ng Ilocos Sur, 2 araw pang walang kuryente-NGCP
Hindi pa agad maibabalik ang suplay ng kuryente sa ilang bahagi ng lalawigan ng Ilocos Sur at sa buong lalawigan ng Ilocos Norte.
Ito ay dahil sa matinding epekto ng bagyong Ineng sa dalawang lalawigan.
Sa abiso ng National Grid Coporation of the Philippines (NGCP), patuloy ang isinasagawang pagkukumpuni sa bumagsak nilang tower sa San Esteban Laoag 115kv line.
Gayunman, sa pagtaya ng NGCP maaring abutin pa ng hanggang sa August 126 o sa araw ng Miyerkules bago maisaayos ang bumagsak na tower.
Ito ay kung wala na umanong ibang mararanasang problema na makapagdudulot ng delay sa pagkukumpuni. “NGCP’s restoration of the toppled tower along san esteban-laoag 115kv line is currently in full swing. NGCP is focusing its efforts at restoration of this facility. Restoration is estimated to take three (3) days (target completion on 26 August),” ayon sa abiso ng NGCP.
Partikular na apektado ng bumagsak na tower ang ilang bahagi ng Ilocos Sur na sinusuplayan ng Ilocos Sur Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ISECO) at ang buong franchise area ng Ilocos Norte Electric Cooperative Inc. (INECO)./ Dona Dominguez-Cargullo
