Richard Gutierrez kinasuhan ng tax evasion
Sinampahan ng tax evasion charges ng Bureau of Internal Revenue ang aktor na si Richard Gutierrez.
Ito ay dahil sa sa kabiguan ng R Gutz Production Corporation kung saan si Gutierrez ang tumatayong presidente na magbayad ng buwis noong 2012.
Ang R Gutz Production Corporation ay isang kumpanya na nasa likod ng production, promotion, events at marketing ng mga palabas sa sinehan, concerts pati na rin ng ilang local at imported na produkto.
Sa record ng BIR, noong 2012 ay hindi umano nagbayad ng kanilang income tax ang kumpanya at ang tanging deklaradong kita ay umabot lamang sa P311,111.
Sa kabuuan ay umaabot sa P38.5 Million ang tax liabilities ng aktor.
Siya ay nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Tax Code, Sections 254 and 255, in relation to Sections 253 (d), 256 and 106 in relation to Section 114 of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997.
