Lady Tigresses, naagaw ang No. 3 spot vs UP Lady Maroons
Naungusan ng University of Santo tomas Golden Tigresses ang University of the Philippines Lady Maroons upang maagaw ang number three spot sa Final Four Race para sa sa UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament.
Nagtapos lamang sa tatlong set ang pahaharap ng dalawang koponan sa Mall of Asia Arena sa score na 25-20, 25-21 at 25-16 pabor sa UST.
Kapwa may parehong record ang Lady Tigresses at Lady Maroons sa pagpasok sa laban ngunit nagwagi ang UST kaya’t nakuha nito ang ikatlong puwesto na may 8-5 record.
Dahil naman sa pagkatalo, bumagsak sa 7-6 standing ang UP.
