DepEd magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa mercury spill sa MSHS
Inatasan na ng Department of Education ang School Division Office sa Maynila na imbestigahan ang mercury spill sa Manila Science High School.
Pinamomonitor rin ni DepEd Sec. Leonor Briones ang lagay ng mga guro at estudyante na direkta at hindi direktang na-exposed sa mercury at ilan pang nakalalasong kemikal.
Base sa ulat ni DepEd NCR Regional Director Ponciano Andal Menguito kay Briones, sinabi nito na sasailalim sa screenng at iba’t ibang test ang mga guro at estudyante na gagawin sa East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) at sa Manila City Health Office (MCHO).
Sa ngayon wala namang nakitang masamang senyales na nahilo o nahirapang huminga ang mga guro at estudyante.
Ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ay gagawa rin ng imbestigasyon sa kaugnay sa nasabing pangyayari.
