House Deputy Speaker lusot sa pork barrel scam
Inabswelto ng Office of the Ombusdman si House Deputy Speaker Rolando Andaya sa kasong katiwalian at malversation kaugnay ng Pork Barrel Scam.
Ito’y matapos aprubahan ng Ombdusman ang motion for reconsideration ni Andaya na nagparekunsidera sa naunang desisyon ng anti-graft body para isabit siya sa Pork Barrel case na haharapin ni dating Cong. Salacnib Baterina.
Si Andaya ay dating budget secretary noong panahon ng Arroyo administration at inakusahang nag-apruba ng pagpapalabas ng pondo para sa proyekto ni Baterina na umano’y ghost projects.
Nakasaad pa sa pasya ng Ombudsman na nakitaan ng merito ang depensa ni Andaya.
Isinumite ni Andaya ang DBM circular noon na naglilinaw ng release ng PDAF.
Batay dito, hindi na kailangan ang project profile mula sa implementing agencies kung ang proyekto na popondohan ng PDAF ay sakop na ng Pork Barrel menu sa ilalim ng taunang budget ng gobyerno.
Hindi na rin ito sinalungat pa ng field investigating officer ng Ombudsman.
