140 milyong pisong grant, ipinamahagi ng US sa Pinoy scientists
Nakatanggap ng 140 milyong pisong grants at scholarships mula sa United States ang Pinoy scientists.
Sa pamamagitan ng US Agency for International Development (USAID), 10 research scholars at 37 grant recipients sa science, technology and innovation ang nakatanggap nito.
Binigyang pagkilala ni US Ambassador Sung Kim ang Pinoy scientists na nakatanggap nito. Ani Kim, ang mga ito ang kinatawan ng ‘best scientific minds’ sa Pilipinas.
Inaabangan naman US ang magiging resulta ng mga pagsasaliksik ng Pinoy scientists.
Iginawad ng USAID ang tatlong milyong dolyar na grant bagaman binawasan ni US President Donald Trump ang pondo nito para sa foreign aid.
