DENR Sec. Gina Lopez, “bypassed” na ng Commission on Appointments
Maituturing nang “bypassed” ng Commission on Appointments (CA) si Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Gina Lopez dahil hindi ito makadadalo sa susunod na hearing ng komisyon.
Ayon kay Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, ang hearing sa susunod na linggo ang huling hearing ng CA bago ang Holy Week break ng kongreso.
Nasa labas ng bansa si Lopez sa susunod na linggo para sa personal trip.
“Since Secretary Lopez will be out of the country on a personal trip and wala (ng) plenary, she is deemed (bypassed),” ani Lacson.
Ayon kay Lacson, sa Martes maaring magkaroon ng executive session ang committee on environment para makabuo ng desisyon sa appointment ni Lopez.
Maari naman aniyang ma-reappoint ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Lopez o pwede ring hindi.
