2 bus ng Philippians Bus Line, pinatawan ng suspensiyon ng LTFRB
Pinatawan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ng 30 araw na suspension order ang dalawang bus ng Philippians Bus Lines.
Kasunod na rin ito ng walang habas na karera na ginawa ng dalawang driver ng naturang bus noong April 21 sa Commonwealth Avenue sa Quezon City.
Sa reklamo ng concerned citizen at mamamahayag na si Gerry Baja, nagkakarerahan ang dalawang unit ng bus dahilan para ilagay sa peligro ang buhay ng ibang motorista.
Bukod sa suspension order, pinasususpendi rin ng LFTRB ang driver’s license ng dalawang drayber ng bus na sina Ernesto Alfon Jr. at Joel Sarrage.
Ayon kay LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez, maliwanag na nilabag ng dalawang Philippians bus ang nakasaaad sa kanilang prangkisa. “According to Article 1755 of the Civil Code, a common carrier is bound to carry passengers safely as far as human care and foresight can provde, using the utmost diligence of very cautious persons with dure regard for all circumstances.” Paliwanag ni Ginez. – Chona Yu/Jay Dones
