Filipino​​ gymnast, posibleng manalo sa 2020 Tokyo Olympics

Organizers unveiled the new official logo of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Monday, April 25, opting for blue and white simplicity over more colorful designs. The winning logo, selected from four finalists, is entitled Harmonized Checkered Emblem. It features three varieties of indigo blue rectangular shapes to represent different countries, cultures and ways of thinking. Umaasa si Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) President Cynthia Carrion na ang Pilipinas ay mananalo ng medalya sa parating na 2020 Tokyo Olympics dahil sa nakikita niyang potensyal na maging isang world-class athlete ang 16 taong gulang na si Carlos Edriel Yulo.

Ayon kay Carrion sa pamamagitan ng tamang training, maaring makapag-uwi ng medalya ang ating mga atleta para sa Pilipinas.

Dagdag ni Carrion, kasalukuyang nag-eensayo si Yulo kasama ang Japanese national team bilang bahagi ng Olympic Solidarity Program.

Aniya ni Carrion na nagsisilbi ding Vice President sa South East ng Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU) na si Yulo ay maganda ang ipinapakita sa Japan dahil mentally strong ang nasabing atleta.

Dahil sa naging performance ni Yulo sa the Pacific Rim tournament, nakita ng ang potensyal na makapag-uwi ng medalya ito sa 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Nanalo si Yulo ng limang medalya kasama ang mga gintong medalya sa 8th Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships na ginanap sa   Xfinity Arena sa Everett, Washington noong nakaraang Abril.
