Pagbabago sa traffic scheme sa EDSA, epektibo na sa Lunes
Ipatutupad na ng Inter-Agency Council for Traffic o I-ACT ang mga pagbabago sa traffic scheme sa Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue o EDSA simula bukas (September 05), alas-singko ng umaga.
Ang I-ACT ay binubuo ng Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group o PNP-HPG, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority o MMDA, Land Transportation Office o LTO, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board o LTFRB at iba pang force multipliers.
Sa advisory ng I-ACT, ang pagbabago sa traffic scheme sa EDSA ay ang mga sumusunod:
– pagsasara ng U-Turn Slots Southbound malapit sa Trinoma, matapos ang West Avenue patungong SM City Northbound;
– pagtanggal ng counterflow sa Rockwell Flyover mula Rockwell tungo sa EDSA; at
– North Road, EDSA – One way na lamang mula sa EDSA.
Umapela naman ang I-ACT sa mga motorista lalo na ang mga maaapektuhan ng pagbabago sa traffic scheme na unawain at sumunod na lamang dahil kasama ito sa plano para maresolba ang malalang trapiko sa EDSA.
