Mga appointees, pinagsusumite ng courtesy resignation
Binigyan ng Malacañang ang lahat ng mga presidential appointees, maliban sa mga itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, ng pitong araw para makapag-sumite ng kanilang courtesy resignation.
Nakasaad sa memorandum circular na pinirmahan ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea na sinumang hindi susunod dito ay papatawan ng mga kasong administratibo.
Inilabas ni Medialdea ang nasabing order alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Duterte na bakantehin ang lahat ng mga appointive positions sa ilalim ng sangay ng ehekutibo.
Bukod sa mga appointees ni Pangulong Duterte, hindi rin kasama sa mga pinabababa sa pwesto ang mga opisyal ng state universities and colleges, sa judiciary at pati na sa government-owned and-controlled corporations.
Lusot rin ang mga career employees na naipasok alinsunod sa Civil Service Law, mga opisyal ng constitutional commissions at iyong mga pinoproseso pa ang appointments.
