Nag-concede na rin si Vice President Jejomar Binay kay Davao City Mayor at Presumptive president-elect Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa isang statement, kinumpirma ni Joey Salgado, communications director ni Binay na tinawagan na ng Pangalawang Pangulo si Duterte at binate na ito sa kanyang pagka-panalo sa nakalipas na eleksyon.
“We confirm that Vice President Binay has talked to President-elect Duterte. He extended his congratulations and wished the president-elect all the best,” pahayag ni Salgado.
Si VP Binay ang pinakahuling kandidato sa pagka-pangulo na nag-concede sa presidential race.
Una nang nag-concede sina Senator Grace Poe na sinundan ni Mar Roxas.
