Matapos matalo sa kaniyang hometown sa Florida, Marco Rubio umatras na sa US presidential race
Umatras na si Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio sa presidential race matapos matalo kina Hillary Clinton at Donald Trump sa mismong hometown niya sa Florida.
Sa kaniyang pahayag sa harap ng supporters niya sa Miami, sinabi ni Rubio na marahil hindi bahagi ng plano ng Diyos para sa kaniya na siya ay maging presidente. “It is not God’s plan that I be president in 2016 or maybe ever,” ayon kay Rubio.
Kasabay nito, nagbabala si Rubio sa tinawag niyang ‘divisive politics’. “I ask the American people, do not give into the fear, do not give into the frustration,” apela ni Rubio.
Ang pasya ni Rubio na umatras na sa presidential race ay kasunod ng pagkakatalo sa tatlong presidential nomination contests.
Sinabi ni Rubio na isang US senator mula Florida, na malayo naman na ang kaniyang narating sa panahon ng kaniyang pangangampanya.
