Justice spokesman itinalagang DOJ secretary

Itinalaga ng Malacañang si Justice Undersecretary Emmanuel Caparas bilang acting Secretary ng Department of Justice.

Kasunod ito nang paghirang ni Pangulong Noynoy Aquino kay dating Justice Sec. Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa bilang bagong mshistrado ng Supreme Court.

Bago ang kanyang appointment bilang acting secretary, si Caparas ay tagapagsalita ng kagawaran mula panoong October 2015.

Si Caparas ay nagtapos ng Economics at Law sa University of the Philippines.

Taong 1986 nang una siyang maunungkulan bilang research attorney sa Constitutional Commission sa ilalim ni dating Chief Justice Roberto Ongpin.

Naging bahagi rin siya ng Sycip Salazar Hernandez and Gatmaitan Law Office.

Noong 2008 ay pinamunuan niya ang Management Information System Office at siya rin ang Chairman ng Court Technology Department of Judicial Academy.
