Nakataas pa rin sa “yellow alert” ang Luzon grid dahil sa manipis na reserba ng kuryente.
Sa abiso ng Manila Electric Company (Meralco), mula alas 10:00 ng umaga ng Martes hanggang hapon ay iiral ang yellow alert sa Luzon Grid.
Nangangahulugan itong hindi sapat ang reserba ng kuryente sa Luzon at kung may bibigay na isang planta ay kakapusin na ang power supply.
Bagaman wala pang inaasahang brownouts nang dahil sa manipis na reserba, pinayuhan ng Meralco ang mga Interruptible Load Program (ILP) participants na maghanda sakaling kailanganing magde-load.
Lunes ng hapon ay nagdeklara ng “red alert” ang National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) sa Luzon grid dahil sa zero contingency reserve./ Isa Avendaño-Umali
