Dating PBA player Dondon Hontiveros tatakbong konsehal sa Cebu City
Naghain ng kaniyang certificate of candidacy para tumakbong konsehal sa Cebu City si Dondon Hontiveros.
Si Hontiveros na nagretiro sa PBA noong nakaraang taon ay kandidato sa ilalim ng Barug Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
Ani Hontiveros, nakatanggap din siya ng alok para tumakbo sa ilalim ng partido ni Incumbent Cebu City Mayor Timas Osmeña.
Pero mas pinili niyang tumakbo sa PDP-Laban dahil walang kandidato ang partido na maaring sumentro sa sports.
Kasama si Hontiveros sa slate ni dating Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama na tatakbo namang vice mayor habang sin incumbent Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella ang tatakbong alkalde.
