Human rights lawyer Chel Diokno tatakbong senador
Naghain ng certificate of candidacy para tumakbong senador si human rights lawyer Jose Manuel “Chel” Diokno.
Ayon kay Diokno sakaling manalo, ipaglalaban niya ang karapatan ang hustisya para sa mga mahihirap.
Ani Diokno, hindi siya miyembro ng Liberal Party pero suportado ng oposisyon ang kaniyang kandidatura.
Hindi rin nababahala si Diokno kahit hindi siya pumapasok sa top 12 sa mga survey.
Aniya, malayo pa naman ang eleksyon at sa susunod na taon maaring mabago pa ang resulta ng mga survey.
Si Diokno ay anak ni dating Senador Jose “Pepe” Diokno na nabilanggo noong panahon ng martial law.
