Niyanig ng magnitude 6.5 na lindol ang Loyalty Islands sa New Caledonia.

Naitala ang lindol alas 6:28 ng umaga ng Martes, Oct. 16 oras sa Pilipinas.

Ayon sa US Geological Survey naitala ang pagyanig sa 179 kilometers mula sa New Caledonia.

Naramdaman din ang lindol sa Vanuatu.

Ayon naman sa Phivolcs walang banta ng tsunami sa Pilipinas bunsod ng nasabing lindol.
