JBC, isinumite na kay Pang. Duterte ang shortlist para sa susunod na CA Associate Justice
Inilabas na ng Judicial and Bar Council o JBC ang short list para sa susunod ng associate justice ng Court of Appeals.
Sa liham na isinumite ng JBC kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, kabilang sa shortlist ay sina:
– Loida Posadas-Kahulugan (6 votes)
– Angelene May Quimpo-Sale (5 votes)
– Emily San Gaspar-Gito (5 votes)
– Emerson Aquence (4 votes)
– Raymond Reynold Lauigan (4 votes)
– Encarnacion Moya (4 votes)
Ang shortlist ay pirmado ni Supreme Court Chief Justice Teresita Leonardo-de Castro na siyang ex-officio chairperson ng lupon; at Justice Secretray Menardo Guevarra at Senador Richard Gordon, na parehong ex-officio members.
Sa listahan ng mga nominado pipili si Pangulong Duterte ng susunod na magiging Court of Appeals associate justice, kapalit ni Socorro Inting na naitalaga bilang bagong commissioner ng Commission on Elections o Comelec.
