RevGov drive, hindi opisyal na posisyon ng DILG – Sec. Año
Mariing itinanggi ni acting Interior Secretary Eduard Año na ikinakampanya ng Department of Interior and Local Government o DILG ang Revolutionary Government o RevGov Drive na isinusulong ng isang undersecretary ng ahensya.
Ayon kay Año, “personal opinion” lamang ni DILG Undersecretary Epimaco Densing III ang RevGov.
Matatandaang hinimok ni Densing si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ideklara ang RevGov, noong siya’y naging panauhin sa isang event ng Mula sa Masa Duterte Movement o MMDM noong Biyernes.
Paliwanag ni Densing, ang RevGov ay makakatulong para sa transition ng pamahalaan tungo sa federal government.
Dagdag nito, ang RevGov ay layong suspindehin ang 1987 Constitution.
Pero giit ni Año, ang pahayag ni Densing ay bilang honorary chairman ng MMDM at hindi para sa DILG.
Ibig sabihin, ang RevGov ay hindi opisyal na posisyon ng ahensya, dagdag ni Año.
Paglilinaw pa nito, ang DILG ay sumusunod lamang sa federal Constitution na inilatag ng Consultative Committee na binuo ni Pangulong Duterte.
