Gobyerno, nakatipid ng P45M sa airfare dahil sa Government Fare Agreement ayon sa DBM
Nakatipid ang pamahalaan ng P45.7 milyon na pamasahe sa eroplano sa ilalim ng Government Fares Agreement (GFA).
Base ito sa report ng procurement service sa Department of Budget and Management nitong July 31, 2018.
Ang savings ay mula sa mga airplane ticket na binili ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno na naka-enroll sa programa na nagbibigay ng 8 -9 na porsyentong discount galing sa mga participating airlines.
Bukod pa ito sa natipid ng pamahalaan sa mga karagdagang benepisyo na ibinibigay sa mga enrolled agencies tulad ng free first booking fee, waived processing fee para sa domestic at international ticket at karagdagang weight allowance.
Ang mga ahensya ay mayroon ding airport lounge privileges sa ilalim ng programa.
Ito ay inisyatibo ng DBM at procurement service-Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System.
Sa ngayon, 160 na ahensya ng gobyerno ang nakikinabang sa benepisyo ng GFA.
